Crown and Bridge

Crowns are porcelain or gold caps that cover your entire tooth. We use this procedure when a tooth has a really large filling and is getting weak or the tooth has cracked. Crowns can also be used for esthetics to change the color and shape of teeth for a more esthetically pleasing smile. The crown is cemented and encases the entire tooth helping to hold it together for years to come.

Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth by crowning teeth on either side of the missing space and having a porcelain or gold “bridge” connecting the two crowns and filling in the space.
